परिवार इकाई महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि परिवार इकाई समाज की सबसे पुरानी और मूलभूत इकाई है। यह अपने सदस्यों को भावनात्मक, आर्थिक और सामाजिक सहायता प्रदान करता है।

A community is a group of people living together in the same area who share common interests, traditions, and responsibilities. Its role is to provide support, and help its members, organise events and manage shared resources to improve everyone's quality of life.
समुदाय एक ऐसा समूह होता है जहाँ लोग एक ही क्षेत्र में रहते हैं और समान रुचियाँ, परंपराएँ तथा जिम्मेदारियाँ साझा करते हैं। एक समुदाय की भूमिका है - सहायता प्रदान करना, रिश्तों को बढ़ावा देना और अपने सदस्यों के बीच अपनेपन की भावना पैदा करना।
